Kursinhalt:
This course will present an osteopathic approach to the brain and nervous system specifically as it applies to movement disorders. The relevant embryology, anatomy, physiology of the portions of the system involved in movement will be reviewed. The concept of transparency will be utilized for both diagnosis as well as treatment of brain structures. In addition to nervous system structures, vascular evaluation and treatment will also be covered. The patholophisiology of movement disorders will be discussed. Finally, both structural/anatomic and functional/physiologic treatment approaches will be explored.
